On the holiest of weekends...

They celebrate it in Jerusalem and everywhere there is a practicing Jew. It is called Pesach and it marks seven days of celebration during the month of Nissan. This year it begins on April 19th. It is a day of deliverance, with a night marked by blood and dread and a dawn full of freedom and promise.

They celebrate it in Catholic and Protestant households alike. It is a day of sacrifice that foreruns a day of resurrection. At a given time both Jew and Gentile celebrated it with the same meaning, because at heart, every Christian owes a savior to Jerusalem...

However different it might seem on the outside, it is a day of blood staining wood and promises fulfilled. Perfect the sacrifice, it guarantees an otherwise unattainable reward by human means... and we will celebrate it until HE establishes and makes Jerusalem a praise in the Earth.

"A man who was completely innocent, offered himself as a sacrifice for the good of others, including his enemies and became the ransom of the world. It was a perfect act."-Mahatma Ghandi
